  4. Hello all, So i have a nice rockford t1500 im asking 350 shipped Obo Great condition, works amazing, I love these amps I hope this one finds a good home.
  5. I just had to rub a nissan r35 GT-R it was a 2010 solid black car i rubbed it with compound and polishes and it still did not remove the swirls all the way. I guess every car is different. but I still had to wetsand in 3000. Black shows everything even a microfiber will scratch it. it is impossible to keep perfect yett i must admit it is a nice color.
  6. If you wetsand it wit 3000 grit the paint will look like glass. If you are going to take the time to do it may as well get the orange peel out while your at it. the end results are amazing. Butt.. in time it will eventually get swirl marks.. Ive used compound on swirls on black cars and it never seems to completely get rid of them. Also if you dont know what you are doing you will leave behind wheel marks that look worse than swirls.50% overlap is key! wet sanding is the only way to make them vanish on solid black. Im not saying get to aggresive just hit it lightly. If you really want a show finish then wetsand the whole thing in 1500 then 3000 then rub it just dont burn it man. and if you do then stop as soon as u notice it. because if u keep wheeling a burn mark u will just take it to sealer/primer and itl look like booty. Il wheel it out for you for 350 bux Sir..
  7. Yeaa 3m is teh shit!! i use it every day!!! Im workin at the body shop!! I let em lick the lolli pop
  8. Okay.. Your first mistake was choosing black.. Black cars show everything man.. The only way to remove scratches/swirls from black is to wet sand with trizact 3000grit paper get a wheel and rub it 1000-1600rpm with a good rubbing compound. wizards is good and 3m are also good compounds. Take your sweet time!!! Hold the wheel flat and dont press down to hard otherwise you will burn your clear coat and you will need to re paint it. Work small sections at a time. use a qaurter size drop of compound work that into your pannel then repeat untill no dull spots. make sure to work in an area with shade and or out of the sunlight So you can easily find your dull spots. Then polish the car with a foam pad at 1200-1600rpm Finnaly use an even finer swirl remover polish at 800rpm dont work it in just slide over your panels leave the polish on wet. wait for it to haze up then wipe off with microfiber cloth... ta dahh!!!
  9. i am tuned as low as i can go with the box I have unless i make a port that shares 3 common walls, I have no idea how to tune an L port and the last one i made was stupid loud from 50-70hz but it had no low's at all. Ive also heard that having more port area would increase lows.
  10. So I should just leave it alone and keep it sealed at the window? My wall is kind of far back. I wanted to be able to recline my seat a bit so I thought i should try and work on making it a bit smaller but i dont want to buy all the mdf and build it and not be happy.
  11. Uhgg i dont want to sacrifice my lows for an extra .5db at 70hz SMH idk what to do...
