ok so i got a recone and reconed it tuesday and started beating on it wed. i dd-1 the 5k with track 3 40 hz -0db so i would be safe but its dark so i didnt look where the gain was so i remembered today and i swear the gain is in the same exact spot on the amp when i set it with the -15db track so im thinking its still clipping. after awhile it will start smelling but i think its because its new it only smells once n awhile so my ? is is it clipping or the breaking in of the sub and im about 95% it isnt rubbing

well ive seen these thing in a 12 cube box a 5 cube box i dont think it matters too much ill be lucky to get 10^3 out my wall with the bracing and my big ass port idea so ill be happy with anything if it will impove from the 6 cubed box then im happy lol im gonna set the amp with a -0db test tone on the dd-1 and hopefully it wont blow up for a very long time

2 ohm for the break in period this will be in 6.5 cube box and then .5 in the wall

i have mine in a 6.5 and nobody likes it on here lol

well i picked this kicker comp 12 single 4 ohm coil with box at the local swap meet for 30 so i was like what the hell i hate kicker to death but hey. i had it hooked up to a old school rf punch 500s bridged at 4 so 500 watts for 4 days and it didnt even get hot so i had my 5k laying around so had my buddy come over hooked the kicker the 5k at 4 ohms so around 950 watts... it lasted id say around 20 -25 minutes on unclipped power but on the TL burped at 66 Hz it did a whopping 142.7 db and then it faded off to around a 138 until it burned up i was really really surpised how loud it was so just wanted yall to watch out i might wall off my camaro if 4 15 kicker comps lol no pics sorry cut her up to see how bad she cooked the coil lol it was BAD lol

lol buildin me my own tsns and i will say i dont kno everything and didnt know the tone difference to tell the truth i set it like i have b4 and at least 15 amps and never had a problem blowing subs after i dd-1ed them when kurt gives me a price and it aint to bad ill recone it but right now i dont feel like it im not calling everyone on here a dumbass but some are but yes sub blew probably my fault but cant take it back but ive burped at least 15 20 times on the 5k b4 and nothing so thats y i posted on here
