  1. yea there awesome, my cousin bought the set and it pounds, but dosnt move like that i went with the bose set... great set up...but lackin in the bass department
  2. pionner amps arnt bad, they are not the best, but they get the job done, i use 1 of them
  3. that mean each sub is dual 2 ohm, each voice coil is a 2 ohm vc, thats what he was asking that means the subs together can be .5 ohms, or 2 ohms, or 8 ohms
  4. d4 d2 what type of duals are they dual 2 or dual 4
  5. yea i will prolly just go with the box he could build me, just depends on the price
  6. i will, he sent me a pm, im kinda excited, i just looked and that other box was only 1/2 inch mdf as it was
  7. i live in williams, an hour from chico, how much would u charge me for a good enclosure, id like that...
  8. 04 f-150 super cab fx4 no u didnt miss it, nvr posted it
  9. i wanted to put a box on the seat for a lvl 4 or lvl 5 15" but things came up and im forced to a box under the seat, so we will see
  10. awesome, im pretty excited...i have som1 willing to meter it after i get it all broke in too, so we will see
  11. its a "super cab" extended cab, the box will take up all of the back seat, under the seat, and im going to raise it 2.5 inches to put the amps under there too
  12. ok ill just keep it sealed, add some fill and make sure its all sealed up inside, any db predictions?
  13. i was thinkin about the same, im hoping to at least be loud enuf to compete in 120-129.9 class, but who knows, maybe it will suck i hope not
  14. i plan on going around and adding some sealer on top of what they have... no such thing as to strong any predictions for db range (i kno its not good to predict, bad luck) but still wanna hear ur input
  15. ok, i guess ill just keep it sealed and add some fill....will it still get down tho when i need it to?
  16. i said sealed dosnt get as loud as ported, ported is more for spl, sealed is more for sq...i want it to sound good, but at the same time i wanna be able to throw down and do a comp or two if i want..... so sealed would be loud too? im hoping that these 2 should do mid 30's, so i can at least compete in 120-129
  17. like i said before a custom box wouldnt make a difference, the box im looking at is the maximum size it can be, so if its custom i will be paying more, and not getting anything different cause they will not be able to use any more space than there already is, this box takes up under the HOLE back seat every bit of space, im unable to see how a custom box would give me any more space as there is no more room to get
  18. it will be tight all the way around, it looks like it should be alright, but im just not sure how the port would work, i might just have to keep it sealed, but would it get just as loud as ported?
  19. with some slight modifications it will, ill have to add about an inch to the box, it will be tight all the way around, but like i said i have looked at every option besides removing the back seat or cuttin a hole in it, so yea they will fit, it will just b tight
  20. 2 10" dc lvl 3s off a rockford t1k at 1 ohm
  21. this set up should be loud enuf to compete in some noob bass racing, (120-129.9) and depending on the port maybe even a (130.139.) but i kno sealed boxes dont get as loud as ported ones, and even if i do opt for a custom box it wont make much difference cause im squezing the max size box i can get anyway into the space i have
  22. yes, ive had previous threads about how im limited with space (to the point its disgusting) i think i about have everything narrowed down, the box is sealed correct, and i see you can get things like aero ports, that are 1" 2" 3" in diameter and a certain length, where im lost at is not how to do this, but what do i need, is it the same thing as hz, and if so, what do i need to look at for tuning? im just lost in general on this subject
