ok, this is gonna sound dumb but, i dont want a speaker in the door (mid and high) and only have one workin...when i have my system up its kinda like a quick check for me to see if my amp is workin right (ive fried my last amp) which messed up one of my speakers, so if i look over and see my mid movin then it seems like things are workin right....dont necessarily want the bass in the door, nor need it, but its nice to have it there

ill be runnin a pionner 75w rms 4 ohm, 100w rms 2 ohm amp to them, i dont wanna shut the bass off to them completely tho, so do you have that problem with yours?...bass isnt a huge concern to me, but then again i dont want my doors with none

well for the price those kickers look good, but idk maybe ther is some hole in the wall brand that will chew up and spit out those for the price...time will tell hopefully...

kk, i got a set of kar design titanium tweeters up front, goin to add another set in back, how u think the tweets of the kickers will do with the kar design ones? i dont wanna hear 1 set more than the other

yea those are the xact kickers i was going to get, u said he had those ones and he was runnin the bass to them? how crisp were they at full volume?

i dont really care about the bass of em, but i dont wanna have to shut them off cause they blow (like my current set i blew) but superbly crisp loud treble is a must

idk 200 bucks a set? around there, but i can get the ks series thru a friend for 90 bucks a set

ok so yea there are tons of ways to get a lil more power...for started throw a k&n on there, and get another 10 horses, open up the exhaust and get another 15...simple things will help on our 05 excursion we have a sct xtreme tune, mbrp 5 inch exhaust, k&n cold air intake and were pushin around 590 horses and 900 lb of torqe...just look around a little, but if you are gonna chip i would go with sct and see what they offer..=D

im lookin at gettin a set of components, ive been lookin at the 5 1/4 (because i have to make them fit in my 5x7/6x8 stock location) kicker ks was wonderin if any1 of you have heard these series to see how they sound, they will b gettin around 100w rms, or if u have any suggestions for another set of components...thx

sounds like a pretty sick idea, id deffinetly like to do this, probably be easiest steve to have every1 meet at one common place...dont know if we would need a noise permit (just an idea)... but yea, overall sounds sweet
