  1. too high for my likings, and I don't believe its bad honestly. I have heard of people setting their lpf at 125 to match their hpf for their comps so there is no loss of frequency so to speak. I run my hpf at 80hz for my components. But that matches the lpf of my subs too. I prefer lower but can't say that 125 is bad.
  2. i never played with alpine units, but I know with my 2v pioneer, and my 5v excelon, I have the sub level on the HU set at 3/4. Works great.

  17. I have 2 15"q's each in 2.06 cubes after displacment with 2 pounds of polyfill in each enclosure with 1000 on each, and they are ruthless. oh yeah, in the trunk of my sunfire. i can run 500 more watts to each with this setup, but they slump as it is.
