Here are some pics of my 1997 BMW 528i system and exterior. There is no build pictures because my camera got wiped... The system is a Fi ssd 12 in a 4th order bandpass box runnign off an mb quart 1500.1 on 1 ohm with dayton 6s up front along with morel tweets running active on a precision power sedona s320.4 Other mods have been eibach lowering springs and custom powdercoated oem style 32 wheels.

port goes all the way to back and then turns away from the sub.

its not an aero sorry its a 3 by 10 rectangle firing through ski hole in back seat. the port blocks alot of the middle of the ported box, could this also cause noises?

its got about 3 inches external. the rest internal.

a 2:1 or 3:1 about 2 to 2.5 on the ported side after dispacements. with an external port. Right now i have a 2:1 with 30^2 inches of port, and about a 42 hz tuning and i think im having some problems with air noise on lower notes.

About how much porrt area would you recomend for a fi ssd 12 in a 4th order bandpass box and about what tuning?
