I like RF's amps. Their subs are decent. They just cost too much.

My cousin has an 06 ram (Hemi). Came with 345hp. He raced his neighbor who has a F250 pretty hooked up, doing some where near 425hp-450hp....Anyways the F250 spanked my cousin. My cousin is telling me that when he adds a "chip" to his car, exhaust, and intake he will have some where near 500hp. For some reason im calling BS on this. What do you guys go to say about this?

Yep. Car Show King is correct. I attend just about every show..I may have missed 2 last year. I will more than likely be attending the upcoming show unless I have to work. I won't have my setup by then but I still go.My car is in my avatar. What car do you have?

LOL I have never used 18"s till now. I used to get 15"s since Kicker doesn't make any 18" except the Solo X.BTW- I just paid for the BTL.

Im going with an 18" FI BTL. With all the options. Ordering it today so I can get started on the box and just take a look and admire it ;D Then when I get paid im ordering more.

Same thing I was thinking...Just about every one I know that makes boxes knows how to measure their trunk space.

If they were still $500 I wouldn't have had to make this thread. Plus IF I did need a recone for them they're too expensive. For that I'd rather go with FI.

Im pretty much settled on the Solo X or the BTLs...My concern for the Solo X is will it be fine running off only 1,700rms (each sub) for a few weeks until I get another two D5000s for each coil?

Don't you think the Solo Xs would blow them away, SPL wise? Im looking for some thing similar to MTs, just not MTs. So far im considering Solo Xs or FI BTL, either choice in 18".

I have 1,300 for subs. I was thinking of going with two 18" Solo Xs. Before I do I wanted to see if anybody here suggested any thing else? This is going to be a really loud daily driver as well as for competitions. Suggestions?

I love RE too, Just wish they would still offer us the old pricing. Atleast for the members that have been on the Official RE AUDIO forum. I wouldn't have to be thinking so much about what setup to run if the MT was still $500 shipped to my door :-

X2, David...I totally agree with you. I have set my mind that I am not going to go with RE Audio. As much as I would love to have the MTs, I don't support the company. Simply because it isn't what it used to be. I am undecided yet about these subs. I am really really tempted to give them a try ;D I've known about these for months now and have been waiting for them to come out...Decision time now...I got $700...should I sell the HCCA D5000...collect my next pay check and buy four of these?? ??? Or buy Two 18" Solo Xs ??? How much cubic ft do these suckers need for a ported box?

Finally there out!! Screw RE. After going through missions looking for a decent price on the MTs, I could only find 1 or 2 things. I've been waiting for this company to finally come out. Superior Sound, this is the company I was referring to that would go against RE ;D
