  1. Would a Crescendo C1100.4 be overkill or perfect for a set of Hertz HSK165XL & Hertz HCX165 (rear fill coax).. Or would the Symphony 800.4 be good enough?

@Jeff that was my second choice I mentioned in the status, but that amp only puts out 125rms... I would love to get the full potential out a $700 pair of components if you know what I mean

@Orion Didn't you run the hertz? or still do?

The coax is around 100 rms, but I was going to keep the gains low to simulate ambience rather then them keeping up with the front stage. And I like front stage only after trying it from SMDs suggestions, but I listened to a Vehicle that used coax for rear ambience and it sounded GREAT! Now It was a fully active system, but My radio has TA and I can use the crossovers and gains on the amps to achieve what I need in that department

Yeah, and i've run them active on a Sundown 200.4, thats around 180w each driver. The mids loved it, I backed down the gain on the tweeters, too loud LOL. Running passive xovers, you'll be fine with the 1100. The coax part, i'll leave up to you.
