I think i have an issue. I get down and can't get motivated but the only way i feel good is if i am doing something.

I feel that way too sometimes...sorta like a state of depression/lack of motivation you mean? And then when you get involved in something like a project you feel really good about yourself?

Yeah I feel that way sometimes. Like life's just uninteresting. You just gotta get up and make your own reasons to enjoy it man as sappy as that sounds haha
