  1. Damn yeh I'd like to see the build, those are some nasty numbers at 29hz!!
  2. I checked Cmx's vids its a sweet build dual 9.5" aeros and their interchangeable too I like the idea
  3. Nice I think Ile stick to 8' cubes at 33, already decided port middle and instead of slot I might get phsycoacoustics to make me 1 or 2 huge aeros
  4. My last box I built for my 4 sa12s was 6 cubes after all displacement at 35hz but for my wall I'm thinking closer to 7.5 to 8 cubes at 33hz for mostly demoing, wondering if they'll like the lower tuning and the air space on the high side of what's recommended, here's a pic of my current box it seems like they're a little choked when playing
  5. I got the line driver set straight the way I had it set before I used the dd1 an I left the gain all the way on six but re tuning with the dd1 it told me to turn the amp gain up also
  6. Yeh had a dmm and set the line driver to like 5.5 then I used the dd1 on the amp, just curious what tone should I have played to set the line drivers voltage I think I had it set with a 40 0db track from before and just left it then used the -10 track on the amp
  7. I play a little decaf but mostly regular music and usually not full tilting all the time ^^^ yeh true it does cause some confusion
  8. So I've been seeing a lot of back and forth between the -5 and -10 track just set my gains with the -10 should I be worried about hurting my equipment
  9. Fed ex truck pulling up I'm on it the box says sonic Ripping open all 6 I'm tryna do a 156 everything looking in order time to build the 4th order Super shaking an quaking my window my subs powered by crescendo Girlies in the passenger side my hair trickin gets a standing ovation, that acoustic levatation the termlabs next up in my equation Kinetik bats all in the back bus bars and chrome amp racks Bumping 20 hz tracks all I play is DECAF tracks! Bang Facebook that one lol
  10. True I guess Ima give it a try an see what I come up with
  11. Yeah it would be inside the original port an I was trying to figure if that would affect the aero port tuning picture a regular box 2 subs port n middle But removable piece over the port with aeros is what I'm going for
  12. I cud fit 6 Inch or 5inch Flared ones and yeah I was Thinking ports goin Inside the box too I just didn't kno how the other Port would affect it or if at all
  13. I have 2 18 ssa icons walked off n my Car Port straight down the middle 33 By 7.25 and 19 deep it's tuned real Low around 33 good for Music not great for competing I was wondering if I could cut a piece of mdf to basically seal off the port but put an aero port(s) in the removable piece tuned to around maybe 41hz if this Would work and still b tuned at what the aero ports are tuned at didn't kno if the already port inside would affect It
  14. Also I was wondering if I cut A piece of mdf to seal off the port then added an aero port at 41hz just Put up during competition would it sound right and be actually 41hz without the other Port effecting it
  15. I'm on an iPhone so I don't know how to post pics from the mobile site But my box is 33 tall an as wide as the car and around 15 cubes The ports 7 1/4 wide as tall as the box and 19 deep
  16. Ok I ordered audio control overdrive installed it And only went up to a 140.7 I have a hifonics Brutus 2100 and one extra kinetic 950amp bat my box isn't super completely sealed off from te back but all gaps stuffed with sound deadening ppl were also tryna say maybe my box is tuned to low it's tuned at 33hz an on my tl run I played a 40hz tone I'm still lost where I'm losing Decibels
  17. No not broken in at all maybe week or two since the install I figured that would be a big factor and also im gonna seal it off b4 the next event and yes that's tl score an yes way louder with windows down an I set the gain by volt meter using a chart for the rms and ohm load to set to a certain voltage also I'm thinking about ordering an overdrive line driver should this help also?
  18. Ok I have 2 18 ssa icons in a 15 cu ft box tuned to 33hz Running off A Hifonics Brutus 2100 and 1 extra bat the meter was placed In the front corner of the window and I Was only hitting a 138 the way my Box Is In my car it looks walled off but just not sealed all the way around idk if its because the subs aren't broke in the mic position or what my amp is tuned in pretty good I hit 138 on music then 138 again on a 40hz tone help plzz I've seen ppl post way higher numbers with these suns also their in my 93 roadmaster
  19. Doesn't have Fold down seats I'd have to cut the back out
  20. Well if subs were Facing up and port it Could really be however deep As need cuz From Door To door it's 55in an from front seat to back I could Do 24 an it Could be as tall as needed
  21. Is there anyway I could change the port dimensions on that plan tho to be around 34hz I kno 31 Wud hit sum nasty lows but I haven't seen a lot of ppl put up real high numbers tuned that low before an is that plan port middle and l port toward each sub
  22. I had in mind a box that was 54 x 24x24 that's 18cu ft sub up port up but didn't really kno what to do about a port an how To get it To 35hz a lot of the online port calculators are giving me a hard time
  23. 93 Buick roadmaster I've tried a lot of dif Subs an boxes In the trunk an it's jus not as loud as I want lol
