Look into anything pioneer with 3 preouts, youll see a diffrence in sound IMMEDIATLY lol, my sony sounded liek mud after I got my first pioneer!

Till you get a batter h/u your system will not be what you want. The headunit is the base of an install. Specially for daily systems with no type of sound proscessor to enhance your systems abilities Edit: Its all a learning process. Really no reason to buidl right at the res freq unless your seriously trying to compete or wanan waste alot of time building lol. Just do what tre said and do a bit higher tuning like 38 and see how you like it.

Very good subs. AQ/DD doesnt make crapp speakers lol. If you build a proper box youll get GREAT results!!!! I may upgrade to 4 SDC 12s or 2 HDC 15s soon if my Mach 5 IXL 18 doesnt make me happy when I get my AQ1200D in the morning
