ok ive decide on getting hifi brz1700.1d and a fi bl18 1ohm now my next question is what options should i get on the bl? hyper pole? coolng? flat wind? internal lead? universal? plz let me know

ok ive been looking for a while and ive narrowed down to aq hdc418 or hdc318 aluminum\copper coil(which one?) or fi.bl 18, all the 12s im looking at beside aq and fi are to far out of price range. but if someone thinks i should go 12s let me know. as far as amp the hifi brutus elite 2k or brutus 1.2k/2.1k or aq 1.2k/2.2k and for wire is 50ft knu kfk good?

And on the single subs were u guys saying an 18? And the l7s were 2 12

Id prefer to just get new stuff. No offense but I don't always trust ppl. But if I'm running close I might need to go used. And thanks guys. But I can sucker my dad into paying shipping. And box cost is not an issue.

Btw what should I be looking at in voice coils? Dual? 2ohm 4 ohm? Thats something I've been wondering just forgot to ask about it

Hey bro nice build. I got same truck and about to get my system built. On the speakers how did u get the grills on? I got kicker ks65 but the stock grills don't come off and I hate the look of emm.

And it's in back seat of ext cab truck not full size. Just the half ass back seat.

Ok but idk anything about the better companies. Only stuff around here is kicker. But I have a $800-$900 budget for subs and an amp. Idk what I can get because noone sells anything around here. I was looking into 18s or 12s. So can someone give me a place to start? Like which beans to look at? Ive heard about skar sundown dc dd. but do I have to contact to find prices if they not listed?

Ok thanks but what exactly does loud do? To me it seems it gives more bass and just makes it louder overall

dang that kinda sucks. without loud mode on it has to be at like 30 im not sure of max. with loud it sits at 18-22 with +3/6 bass +5/6 mid and treble and no volume boost. but if thats what i need to do ill try to put up with it. and is my hu a good one or not?

oh well then i have another problem but thanks. mines like my HU cant handle power so speakers start popping and shit and ya. doesnt sound good then but they not meant to handle to much bass like i give them even on stock power Speakers start popping? That is probably clipping like kranny said... your driving it into distortion... Within reason it doesnt really matter how much power they`re getting, if its a dirty signal they wont like it... can u clip tho without an amp? and anything u can do to clean it up? new wires? cuz it was installed by geeksquad like before xmas and idt they replaced old stock wiring

btw guys this build wont happen till like july. but if i can start getting stuff together i can save it and get stuff ran. gotta wait for corn detassling for some extra money.

srry what i was saying is my ks65 are clipping like not enough power wise? and i blew one. i dont have any amps or subs yet thats what im trying to look into. im installing and making box and wiring myself.

ok so im 16 and i got my truck last year 97 dakota ext cab. replaced the facotry radio and speakers with kicker ks65 in all 4 spots. also replaced HU with JVC KD-R320. no seperate amps powering speakers. im a kid that likes to have bass but my speakers wont handle it. i blew one within a week and almost blew a second within a month. i know kicker isnt the greatest brand but its all best buy had that i liked. so anyways i would like subs so i dont have to deal with clipping on my speakers like they do if i turn it up to much. so i am looking at choices for subs and im not sure what i want. i was looking at 2 12" kicker crv 2ohm dvc but ive been hearing alot of bad about them. i then was looking at a dc lvl3 15" or decent cheap 18". my budget for total build is about $800 for sub(s), amps, wiring, ect. so i need help finding subs, amp and i also need help designing a box. send me a message if u need any info
