  1. just throwing some options out there of course nothing is in stone so it all can be changed to suit
  2. 42w x26d x16h 1.5" thick(2x 0.75") 2x 6" aero 17" (18 flared length) Sub up, port back Can't give you exact numbers as I'm mobile but it should be around 6.2net at 33.5hz If you had a bit more space you'll have a lot more options
  3. Just refined what you were trying to do, When you use torres to do this style box you need to fill it out like so (the -0.1 is the piece in front of the port opening)
  4. dont worry your not the only one dropping big cash to get them i was just under 700au for 2, on that price youll be £700 just on subs alone, if you want a cheaper amp and less up grading on the elec, just get a 1-1500k amp and when you have more cash upgrade elec and get a bigger amp, what ohm subs did you get? as this will affect what amp you get also, but idd drop at-least 2600-3200rms on them.
  5. Not the best pic But I big bass and big trunk can be had
  6. Al comes down to box, and power If you do 4 8" it would be better, But idd say it all comes down to price, Myself idd say 2x12 and 4x 8" the 8" would be better But if you have space 3 12 anyday. But then again I love my 8's and my trunk,
  7. If you can fit the dual 12" version it's the same price at sonic, if not the the dual 10" is very good and takes up less space, Just what ever you pick don't get something in a prefab unless it's a mainfactorys prefab box My amp is only 4 OHM stable when bridged and Sonic only has the 2 OHM final impedence prefabs, that I saw. Don't want to buy a prefab just to hack it open and rewire it. Can I run two channels to the individual inputs on the sub? IE, two positve and negative going to each terminal? Stupid question have you tries ringing them That's what I do I never order on line as I get a better price over the phone
  8. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/144229-sundown-sa-12s-and-skar-vvx-12s-d4-termlab-scores-and-review/
  9. the sa and skar should be the same price give or take $10, and the sundown imo just seem to have be sq and are able to run a higher tune and not be as peaky the skars love the lows and if your after a ground pounder then they the way to go some one done a right up 2-3weeks ago on both the the same box and they had some good notes, look at that it may help you decide a bit easier,
  10. Can't use Torres to work it out as I'm mobile But you got 8.56gross A box that size will need at least 0.1 of bracing and an extra baffle
  11. 2x 4" port in 7net Nooo way that's like 3.5sq" per ft You'll need 3x 6" to make that work That probley why you can't get Torres to work There a tutorial on how to use it, someone made it last week have a look at that then have another go

  13. Your not restricted to a single sub there are many subs that run well in 150rms so 2 on 300 is perfict The 2 kicker comp 12 in a kicker box work well and go loud for a 300 rms setup Your only restriction is 4 ohm final load
  14. Without knowing budget, and size restriction, and if you can build box You'll need to have a final load of 4 to get 300rms out of that This will work very well (but in 4ohm final load) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21944_Kicker-DC122-10DC122.html?from=857-49 Or http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21945_Kicker-DC104-10DC104.html?from=857-49 Or even http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21900_Kicker-VCVR154-10VCVR154.html?from=857-49 Many people will dis me for recommending them but for the price and with a box I know worka very well with them, there a easy way to get into some bass, I know a lot of people running theis sub/box setup and are very happy
  15. Also tune it to 33-34 and you'll be a bit happier unless you chasing a bit more spl then 36-37hz
  16. You'll need to double up the front so tick baffle in Torres You'll need bracing as well so that will be around 0.02-0.03cuft (3/4 or 1" round bar) Put a 45's in the the port and opposed side to port(not needed on front as double baffled but you can still put) Other that port is all good at 16-17sq" per ft port And power that with 15-1800rms and you'll be fine, if you want 2k+ drop the net to 2.5net 19sq" per ft port
  17. you on 0.26net they recommend 0.28 so close enough, no way you gonna fit ported, build it strong and dont fit any bracing, then seal it up good, and line the box with pollyfil about 1/2" thick all the way around, (dont stuff it in, use to sheet stuff)
  18. what are you measurements and we can see what will fit also how much power?
  19. It might make that much power but unless it can do it at 0.5 or 1.33ohm then you are in trouble there most only like to go down to 2 ohm And if you after any sq I wouldn't run below 2 ohm, idd run 2 off that amp up front and put the third else were or in rear and run of another amp, you'll be better off that way
  20. Me idd do an active setup with the 175.4 and get another amp for your super tweeter when you get them Idd brigade the mid on each side on 2 channels and bridge the tweeters on the other 2 ad high pass them at different freq, You could even run a cap on h/u front channel and run super tweeters of there(that's what ive done in the passed)
  21. Piss that amp off, if its the factory one, and run straight from H/U or buy and aftermarket amp, If your still running factory speakers then just straight from h/u no amp, Just make sure for speakers ar 3ohm up and not 2ohm as some newer car have
