i think they might actually be worse. those guys will modify the outside of their vehicle for better reception

We'll lose all of our cargo space and the rear seats for more bass, stuff batteries where they don't belong with heavy modification and/or fabrication, cut holes in trucks for blowthroughs, etc. It's insane to me but I love it.

Those amateur radio crowd are definitely as bad. A couple alternators and 4 or 5 15ft antennas on your ride is dedication.
