  1. It's hard to say what's "most" unique in this stage of the SMD Tahoe evolution. Literally, by the definition of unique, it's got to be the relocation of the HVAC, combined with the XSPower voltage control module, and the air bag controller (sorry if i'm saying that wrong). because even though I know of very few vehicles with the SMD meters in them, I know fewer with that type of work done and hidden under the arm rest. So many unique and awesome features in here. innovative placement of things, ingenuity, wire management, body work, craftsmanship too hard for one to stick out.
  2. this forum is a great refuge to realize that you are not alone! lol
  3. Consumers in general have a shitty outlook on how things should be. The majority do anyway. Ok, not even the majority of all, but the majority of those who make their opinions be known. No matter the industry you are in. If you are the manager at taco bell, someone comes through your drive through and gets food to take home 20 minutes away, they will blame you because the food is cold. People think they deserve everything in the world and don't want to pay for the quality they feel they deserve.
  4. i shoved it under the box right by the first amp. I left plenty of room on the wire to move it around and find the most optimal spot though. Nice. You never cease to impress.
  5. Looks really, really good man. Great work as usual. I have 2 questions. Did you have to extend vacuum lines for the hvac, and what was the hardest part of relocating the controls? For your TM-1(f) did you have to do a lot of work to get the probe that reads temperature into your amp rack, or do you have it triggered off of something else easier to get to?
  6. It's all just brotherly love man. We have said way worse to each other. The smiley face was supposed to let you know it was all in good fun.
  7. Those are the bdcp so very similar power between 1 ohm and 2 Gain matching/strapping would be a good idea though if subs share airspace.
  8. You have to excuse Kyle here, what he means is that because it's you touching the knobs, that is the problem. Anyone else operating your system wouldn't blow the subs.
  9. Yeah enclosure and a clean signal contribute a ton also. So many variables without knowing every fact it's hard to tell.
  10. So you have subs that are rated for 1200w, if your electrical is good you are overpowering them by over 50%, and you set your gains by ear. Using bass boost too? That should tell you wh they are blowing. Use just one amp or get better subs.
  11. How will you run a 2 ohm DVC sub at 2 ohm? What do the amp birth sheets say? You are overpowering those subs. How did you set your gains?
  12. In the mean time why don't you run all 4 channels to keep your amp cooler? Just asking. I'm sure it's fine either way.
  13. Looking like this thing is getting ready to get retarted loud. Good work Steve. Love the cameo by that mask, isn't that the one you used to trick Rocky?
  14. Don't refund money or shipping cost unless the unit fails the bench test. I've learned that no matter what industry you are in, so many customers are either dumb or trying to pull a fast one. Sorry you have to go through this but the video is cool none the less.
