  1. i mean at first, ill admit i was really just very anxious, but now im straight up concerned. the whole crew got back on the 25th and still no tracking info on the sub. i sent another email to scott, hopefully he gets back to me soon
  2. yea so i still never received my BTL yet. i understand that they were at SBN for the past week or so, but i emailed scott and he told me that he will ship it out tomorrow (tommorow being today). my UPS status still says "billing info received". anyone else experiencing the same delays i am? its been 17 days so far.
  3. yo major that rabbit goove worked efiin awesome, i took a spare peice of wood and practiced on it before i took it to the real thing and it came out perfect. now i just have to order more carpet, b/c the one i screwed up i threw out. thanks alot dude
  4. yo i really think that e-40 song "im da mang" was writtin about meade. definatly keep us updated on the "Meades To-Do List."
  5. i wonder how many people are gonna help steve on the T15 build. i wonder this b/c obvisoly when you do custom installs you need to do test fittings and moving the amp around and stuff. now when he does this he is gonna need 3 people to help him everytime he nees to move it. No doubt steve is a god, but this thing weights close to 200lbs not to mention its an awkward shape to hold also. (well....a little awkward)
  6. seriously, i wish i could travel to Sactown and just stand in his driveway and watch him do this install.
  7. it just sux cuz im always the guy saying dont let anyone do anythig for you, b/c if u want it done right you gotta do it yourself. but i now find myslef in a situation where i wont be able to get to it for a few weeks and the last resort is bringing it somewhere. thank god its just a tailight and nothing too too serious. zax, i thank you ery much
  8. yea i hear you on that man. we already tried tracing the wire from the brake light to the fuse box, but all the wires get lost up under his dash when it gets to the front. i dont have the time, nor does he to take apart the dash to try to get a look at where all the wires feed into. might just take it to my friend who works at Avenue Sound by my house, this weekend.
  9. you can always try expanding foam. good luck trying to clean it up tho
  10. im trying to picture this in my head, i got the roll it up like a burrito part, then cut a groove on the end caps of the box around all 4 sides of the end? then stick the carpet into those grooves, then cut a square piece of carpet and cover the remaining uncovered end? i think after the part where you stick it in the grooves i lose it... you would'nt happen to have a picture would you? either that or im just looking into it way to much
  11. yea steve, i was lookign at your builds and thats what i was trying to do, but i was my first time and none of the 4 triangles that i cut for sides lined up. needless to say it looked like garbage. so now i gotta start over. but w/e i love car audio and im gonna take whatever steps necassary to get it right.
  12. i really need help carpeting boxes and doing corners b/c i suck. i built all of my friends boxes and they came out great, but the road ends for me there, i dont know how to carpet at all. any tips / advice or pointers on how to carpet like the pros. anything at all would be much appreciated
  13. my fuse box is is about 2 feet from where i ran my 2 runs through the firewall to the right of th engine bay, under my hood. the one on the inside is under the dash and thats the one where the 15A fuse keeps blowing that controlls the tailights. 2005 toytota matrix btw
  14. hope both of your recoverin well, and yes, take it easy, but if you feel as if u can continue this build by all means you have my approval, screw the torn muscles. start building!!!! lol jk dude but seriously, take some pics when u get a chance
  15. yea scott got back to me in a matter of 3 hours, since i emailed him last nite. amazing customer service! i cant wait to start this build
  16. its not bad, nowhere near as good as SMD but informative nonetheless. your polls get overlooked sometimes as s1795s02 said
  17. its funny, i actually found their website b4 steves, and i was in their forums and steves name got so much attention, that i had to see what SMD was all about. then after hearing a ton about how sick Fi audio was i gave in and spent 500 beans.
  18. yea because i went on UPSs' quantum view thing, and they require a tracking number, and i dont have one. so i cant even see where its at
  19. how did you get your tracking number??
  20. dude the hc800 is insane and well worth the money. i installed one in friends car and his voltage barely drops. (he is running around 3200rms) thats the one im gettin for my car when all my equipment arrives. maybe u already have a dry cell batt undeer you hood already, but if you dont then i advise you get one (a HC2000 maybe?) but the kinetik will run alot better when its hooked up to another dry cell
  21. well i was on the *** audio forum and nobody ever responds to you posts on that site it seems. so i did email Fi (i think scott) and he still asnt gotten back to me. but w/e i dont care. i know it will be worth the wait.
  22. ahh, thats more comforting, thanks alot man
  23. (i think imposting in the correct thread, if im not just move it) i ordered my BTL about a week ago and on Fi's website it says they have received my payment, and i got a confomation email from them. but on their site it also says Status: order recived (Payment is being carried out by Paypal) Does this mean my order is still in the process of being sent to Fi, or does it mean that Paypal is the company that is transfering ("carried out)" the money? i could be looking into this too much but im jus extremely anxious anyone who has ordered from them in the past, how long did it take you to recieve yours?
