  1. Now that I think about it.. i've just never had anybody tell me to turn it up all the way then adjust my gains.. I've always heard they cause distortion..but if you do it the way I was just explained then it's actually pretty cool
  2. Damn man.. Now I definitely want to use that shit. You're for sure that's the type of bass knob i've got? If it is man..i'm psyched! It definitely helped man!
  3. Was wondering if Dynamat Xtreme is a good product? Would love to hear thoughts and opinions
  4. So it would be better to spend roughly $105 of damp pro 20 sq ft instead of $80 for Dynamat extreme? (not being a dick, just asking)
  5. Also, how well does Dynamat Extreme compare to SS? I can get 20 sq ft of that for like $82
  6. Well.. I could pinch a few more pennies and all.. I've been saving up for everything for so long I'm getting impatient.. So.. I'm probably gonna take your advice and get the damp pro 20 sq ft. Thanks man, I really do appreciate it
  7. That's kind of what I was hoping to hear man! Is 13sq ft a decent amount? On a budget and all..
  8. So you'd get the 20sq ft of damp instead of th 13sq ft of damp pro? Alrighty, thanks man!
  9. Definitely will looking into the Stinger Roadkill man. Do you think 13sq ft of damp pro would be better than 20sq ft of the damplifier or basically the same?
  10. I drive a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville. I have a Soundstream TX1.2000D and 2 Sundown Sa15s in a ported enclosure tuned to 34.5hz. I'm waiting to put the subs in because I would really like to get some sound deadener in. On a budget though.. What would you recommend? 20sq ft of Damplifier for $69.99 or 13sq ft of Damplifier Pro (Alpha damp?) for $69.99. I'm asking because I'm new to the whole world of sound deadener and from what I keep hearing is that SS is the best shit around and that a little goes a long way. Any opionions would greatly help. Thanks!
  11. Money is always nice! I mean..hell.. I work at Sonic, but a job is a job and I need to start stacking some stacks
  12. Not trying to create a vs's thread by any means.. Just would like to get the best but on a budget... Would like to know what options would be better..and be more effective. Would REALLY love to hear some opinions because I have absolutely no previous experience with sound deadener.. I've knocked it down to a few choices, tell me what you think for the $. 25 sq ft of Audio Technix 80 mil B Stock for $59.99, 20 sq ft of SS damplifier for $69.99, or 13 sq ft of SS damplifier pro for $69.99? I've heard from many people that a little bit of SS goes A LONG way.. Would really love to hear all opinions.. Would really appreciate it. Thanks! Also, if this helps,I drive a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville and I have 2 Sundown Audio SA15s and a Soundstream TX1.2000D. Wanting to reduce the shit out of the rattles I will experience (subs are waiting to be put it) also increase some sound. Also just wanting to do some of the trunk.
  13. I had the box designed and it would've been great. I had to do some modifying after I built it. Was simply asking if it would be fine with what i've done.
  14. I measured.. But I didn't compensate for the way I will have to put it in my trunk. It also wasn't a concern the way the box originally was
  15. Yes, because originally the box was like 18" tall but I couldn't wedge it in my trunk.. So i've been knocking down the sides to were it will fit but completely forgot about the whole port area thing..
  16. Don't have a DD-1 man.. I do shit the old school way. So.. Probably don't use the bass knob?
  17. Just got my Soundstream TX1.2000D today. It comes with a remote gain control.. Could someone please tell me about it? Like what it does and if I should use it. Thanks!
  18. So..leaving it at 4.5" wide will be okay you think? I ask because this is my first ever box build and I really don't want to ruin all this time and hard work
