  1. Nope, I have a Kenwood KDC X395, Alpine Spr 69 and Spr 60s. Jl Audio JX 360/4 amp for those.. Just never really payed much attention to the tweeters in the door
  2. Hey guys, I'm looking into upgrading my stock tweeters..but they have never been my thing. Don't know what to look for and what good brands are out there and how much $ it usually takes to get a good set. If you guys could help me with this it would be great!
  3. This is what I'd do man, slap your amp/amps on (they are gonna take up most of the board anyways) ((I'm assuming)) and maybe sand it a little bit and just spray rubberized undercoating (truck bedliner) on that bad boy and she'll look just fine
  4. I have a SoundstreamTX1.2000D amp and it has a bass knob. Honestly never used one, not completely sure what they do. Also, I have the Clarion EQS746 equalizer, should I hook that up to my Soundstream amp for my Sundown Audio 15"s along with the bass knob? I have the Kenwood X395 and it has a 15db sub level. I want my subs to be LOUD, so what should I do? Keep the stereo hooked up to the Soundstream or just hook Equalizer to the Soundstream? Would love to hear your opinions everybody, what you all think I should or shouldn't do.
  5. Haha, my bad man.. I have a Soundstream TX1.2000D and I drive 2004 Pontiac Bonneville, and thanks man So, just use these dimensions for the build..correct? Subs on top and port towards the trunk lid?
  6. My bad, I didn't see that post. That's looks good man! So would I make the box like that or like the L port?
  7. Is it like the Type L port on the RE box calculator? I'm sorry guys..no previous experience with these..
  8. What type of box port would this be? Like, where would the port be located?
  9. I have a Soundstream TX1.2000D and I drive 2004 Pontiac Bonneville, and thanks man
  10. My trunk is about 50"s deep, there would just be a conflict.of getting the big ass box in
  11. Nope.. Wasn't calling him out in the slightest. Just how I talk
  12. dont fucking call me out no0b, you have no clue what youre talking about. dont come here for advice and try and be a fucking toughguy when you get the advice you dont wanna hear. Woah there, calm down man. I was just simply saying that I've had 12"s and I've had 15"s and I just prefer the sounds coming from 15"s over 12"s. No need to get defensive, everyone is titled to an opinion. But, sorry if you felt that I "called you out?" Not sure where you got that one.. Was just saying what I prefer. Also, that had absolutely nothing to do with hearing advice that I didn't want to hear. That's why I'm here, is for advice.. I'm very thankful for all the advice I have been given and I even appreciated that you were spreading your opinion to me about 12"s.
  13. Alright guys, got another question for all of you, I need some help with this one. If you've read my other posts you'll know that I have 2 Sundown SA15s, but I need help with my new box build. I have roughly 40"s from side to side in my trunk to spare, 19" high, and however deep that is needed. On Sundown's website it say 3-4 cubic feet tuned to 35 hz. What would you guys recommend? But I was wondering about making a box with the 2 subs and one long port under the two? Would I need to add a middle wall between the two or can I just leave it open so they both go out of the same long port under the two? Just let me know what you guys think I should do and how many hzs to tune them at? Let me hear your opinions!
  14. 12's can hit deep notes big guy No.. I know they can. I mean..i just love the different sound the 15"s put out
  15. I've had 12"s big guy.. But those deep notes the 15"s hit are my thing
  16. Honestly, these are my first set of "nice" subs and I was a little scared about blowing them in a ported box because i'd be making it myself.. Honestly, I have no experience with them, what are the pros and cons between the two?
  17. What about in a dual 15" sealed box, 2.75 cubes per sub?
  18. I was wondering about stuffing a sealed enclosure with polyfil? I've heard it tricks your subwoofer into thinking that it's in a larger enclosure. Is that good thing? And..what are your guy's feelings on stuffing enclosures?
  19. My HU has two settings for the bass boost, 1 or 2. And if I don't have the subwoofer rca output from the stereo to the amp then I can't adjust the sub level, correct?
  20. RCA front from HU to EQS in. OUT to 2/4 channel then sub out to sub amp. Also, will this make my subs louder than that 15 db bass boost from my HU?
  21. The amp's input sensitivity is 2 volts - 10 volts. What would you recommend doing?
  22. Thank you very much, wasn't sure and didn't want to mess anything up that could easily be avoided.
