Made up a simple amp rack out of boredom today
Riley Evan Houser replied to 8ight's topic in Amplifiers
This is what I'd do man, slap your amp/amps on (they are gonna take up most of the board anyways) ((I'm assuming)) and maybe sand it a little bit and just spray rubberized undercoating (truck bedliner) on that bad boy and she'll look just fine -
I have a SoundstreamTX1.2000D amp and it has a bass knob. Honestly never used one, not completely sure what they do. Also, I have the Clarion EQS746 equalizer, should I hook that up to my Soundstream amp for my Sundown Audio 15"s along with the bass knob? I have the Kenwood X395 and it has a 15db sub level. I want my subs to be LOUD, so what should I do? Keep the stereo hooked up to the Soundstream or just hook Equalizer to the Soundstream? Would love to hear your opinions everybody, what you all think I should or shouldn't do.

dont fucking call me out no0b, you have no clue what youre talking about. dont come here for advice and try and be a fucking toughguy when you get the advice you dont wanna hear. Woah there, calm down man. I was just simply saying that I've had 12"s and I've had 15"s and I just prefer the sounds coming from 15"s over 12"s. No need to get defensive, everyone is titled to an opinion. But, sorry if you felt that I "called you out?" Not sure where you got that one.. Was just saying what I prefer. Also, that had absolutely nothing to do with hearing advice that I didn't want to hear. That's why I'm here, is for advice.. I'm very thankful for all the advice I have been given and I even appreciated that you were spreading your opinion to me about 12"s.

Alright guys, got another question for all of you, I need some help with this one. If you've read my other posts you'll know that I have 2 Sundown SA15s, but I need help with my new box build. I have roughly 40"s from side to side in my trunk to spare, 19" high, and however deep that is needed. On Sundown's website it say 3-4 cubic feet tuned to 35 hz. What would you guys recommend? But I was wondering about making a box with the 2 subs and one long port under the two? Would I need to add a middle wall between the two or can I just leave it open so they both go out of the same long port under the two? Just let me know what you guys think I should do and how many hzs to tune them at? Let me hear your opinions!

Honestly, these are my first set of "nice" subs and I was a little scared about blowing them in a ported box because i'd be making it myself.. Honestly, I have no experience with them, what are the pros and cons between the two?

I was wondering about stuffing a sealed enclosure with polyfil? I've heard it tricks your subwoofer into thinking that it's in a larger enclosure. Is that good thing? And..what are your guy's feelings on stuffing enclosures?
