  1. looks awesome dude!!! the tahoe looks nice and clean, a basshead family ride... but this? a real show & shine instal! fell in love with your builds bro! if i could get mine lookin' almost half as good i would be freakin' proud!!! keep it up! peace
  2. hi i'm Andy but most call me Donny or Smokey (smokey came since i made round 5 instals blow smoke) i'm 24y from belgium and happy to be engaged got a heavy past juvy @ 12 trialed as an adult @ 15... almost 5y out but stil running probation now bout 3years totaly legid... got my girl to thx for kinda always bin into car tuning and audio... for the moment poundin' with a ground zero 15" and an spl dynamic D5s here's a lil demo-vid... playing at 40% amp power
  3. ow okay hehe sorry think the brain ain't at full power yet... only woke up lil over an hour ago... ow reminds me of yesterday... i was pulling out my instal and some dude stopt next to me.. was bragging bout his lower then low budget instal.. asked him what stats he's running at and i qoute him "subs at 4ohm and amp at 1ohm" i cracked up so heavy that i almost dropped to the sidewalk hahahahaha
  4. and gave up. I'm trying to figure out on how you wire your amp to any impedance load. you don't... you can switch impediance by channeling your subs... by series or parralel channeling your subs you change theire impediance ergo they let your amp give power at an other impediance... for example: a DVC sub @ 2x2ohm put in series give 4ohm... (+1 to -2 then -1 & +2 to amp) a DVC sub @ 2x2ohm put in parralel gives 1ohm (+1 to +2 & -1 to -2 then wire thru to your amp) (if i made a mistake feel free to correct me but this is how i do it) peace
  5. better to spend few bucks for extra fuses then to spend few 1000's for a new ride....
  6. Dude, the fuse is to protect the wire.. The amp has its on fuses and if doesn't, it is recommended that one is put right before, proper sizing. But other wise a 250 amp fuse in 0 gauge WILL blow if there is a short and will keep your power wire from melting and catching fire to your car, regardless how big your alternator or amplifier are, like its supposed to do. indeed it is... but also to protect you and your car/instal for daily use i run double fused... 1 @ front and 1 @ the back cuz i'm running 2 battery's at all times si i've double fused it... just for safe keeps
  7. simple rules... SQ and daily rides = fuse the hell outta your instal DB-dragging = fuses give amperage loss... it's all bout safety... also keep in mind that most NON-fused db instals aren't placed in a daily ride... i burp at db's too (in belgium) i've got it placed in a daily but daily i play @ 14v double fused and for DB the mono and sub section are disconnected from the rest and runs @ 18v non-fused
  8. damn read it just now... well can say it's good that you apoli... but common ya know when i were 16 i did'nt had time to get busy with such shit... i had to work for a living cuz i got kicked outa the house for robbin' a sevenelf.... what i wanna say is good to say sorry but really get a life and leave trollin' to them who can handle it peace
