I Cut my Baffles out of double layered 3/4" Birch Ply Glued them together with titebond 2 for 48hrs clamped and weighted down Slid baffles into place roughly where needed Baffles centered in rear and measured for equal spacing ,then secured 1/2" all thread used for bracing. All that is left is the subs to be delivered and installed... wall is sealed forward Deadening : All Deadener is Audio technix's 60 mil line of deadener Side project : No explaining other than Focal 6.5s Sorry for lack of pictures as this has been over a 6 month span and I was doing all work myself and did not always remember to grab my camera
  2. Ok , lets start with the basics Vehicle :2002 Ford Focus SE Subs : 2 Audio Technix 18" Subwoofers Intent: Do a 150 or better at 35hz at the headrest . Now for the Pics : I did some initial measurements for the entire volume I could use without a complex box. After Wood displacement I had 22 cubic feet of internal volume . After finding my measurements, i went into Google Sketchup to mock up some ideas.Until I had a final idea of what i wanted to do So before I started building I needed some much needed upgraded wiring . ( 6 25 Foot Rolls of Audiopipe 0 Gauge CCA) 4 Runs 2 Positive, 2 Grounds I fused my wires 12" from post Now I had to get a Battery bank (xs D3400 Odessey PC2150's My amps of choice : Mb Quarts ONX 1.1500 Ok time for some framing and build pics No explanations :
