If your tight for space and want to do a small sealed design i know the magnetout works well, and takes up very little room,or of course you can go ported, but if you have room to do ported put the magnets in.. IMO.... It all depends on what you have to work with

ok so if i change the width to 4'' port, then bring it back to 2'' before the back, then how far out each side??

if i can do it without having to upgrade my alt then i will, so far the cheapest alt locally , was getting mine rebuilt to 160amps, and that would cost $500, and over ebay may be around 400, after border fees and shipping, i will in the future but until then i thinki going to try and swing it stock...

pg suggests, that i give 2ft^3 per sub... also how did you get that Hz calc. i used an internet one and thats what i got, what do i have to do to bring the Hz down, to like 32Hz?? so keep my port how it is but make it go back until 2.5'' from the back, and then 6.5'' out each side from that??or 3.25'' from the center out each side??

ok, well the port will be 14inches high, visually seperating the box on the outside... but i would like them to share the airspace and port.. so what do i have to do with my port to get it right??

ok ill change that, Thanx,... i made it 5.5 because of the room i had and because the subs will take about .25^3ft, and the port itself sdo i figure ill have around 4.75 ft^3....does this sound sbout right to you guys??

does this sound right guys, or look right, i know its paint but its the best i got.... 5.5^3Ft, tuned to 32hz, port dimensions, 5x14, 24'' long.... its only 2 PG, otctaner zr 12'' subs, they will be getting around 200wrms each.... is it to much cu.ft??

wel i cn say from experience living here in canada your wipers burning out that quick is prolly not the motor being burned out, it could be but my geuss is no, ive had my gf get in turn her wipers on then clean off the snow/ice her wondsheild until the wipers come on.. maybe your motor was on the way out to begin with... what year caddy is it?? motor cant be that bad to change on those... -

i would personally say get a single port 1/2 inch bag unless you wanna get into hopping and shit, that way you could have 1/2 valve going ito the bag no problem, with no restriction, and t it off to a 3/8 valve for going down, i have 3/8s ojn my truck now but i will be stepping up to 1/2 filss, to get a lil more jump in my step... the dual ports is good for hopping because you cN run more air in and out of the bag, but unles your careful with the setup you get next to no control....

thanx bro, i thought it was power acoustics but i wasnt positive, thought id get it clarified... and that amp will be plenty to throw these subs around a bit??

i will also have to run an isolator between the bat and the main bat right?? alts are hard to find for my truck.. ill see what i can do...
