  1. yes i just re-read that and i see he said 100 total but that just makes what i said even carry more truth.
  2. thats a little more then i was expecting. right now im stuck between getting a smd dd-1, big 3, or upgrading my shitty pre fab box that makes my hx2's sound like shit! what would you guys get first? man if you don't feel confident to do it yourself and you think 180 is expensive then you don't need to do anything but save your money and wait. i can spend that on terminals, resin, and mdf alone. wire isn't cheap online or in a store, especially the genuine shit, and not CCA that is called 0, or 1/0 and is actually 2 or between 2 and 4. anyway like i said 180 is cheap especially if you drive a compact car that has no room to work in!
  3. take it out and bevel the crack on the inside, then plastic weld it. on the outside you can plastic weld it or just heat up a flat head screwdriver with a torch and smooth the crack out. no matter what you do you will have to paint so plastic welding is your best option. also never use armor all its made with alcohol and dries out the plastic that is why once you armor all something you have to keep doing it forever. adams premium car care has a spray called in and out its awesome will put a shine on it and wont dry it out and works on the exterior, and engine plastics, but its not cheap.
  4. fiberglass, sand, bondo, sand, filler, sand, prime, sand, paint, color sand, buff. best option blending isnt hard the as long as your are patient. 87chevyboi's suggestion was great unless you are like me and knowing its foam and not solid plastic or fiberglass will bug you even though you cant see it.
  5. just finished mine with black suede from yourautotrim.com with the 1/8 inch and i screwed up my liner when i did it and weakened the actual form but except for where my helper (fiance only person available at time) didnt pull tight enough it looks great. i just glued it to the roof. planning on redoing it with a headliner with a doner headliner next month cause i have ocd and the 3 wrinkles only i can see are bugging me. just to let you know yourautotrim.com was on backorder of the black and may be out already i would call before ordering. if your liner is real bad order some closed cell sculpting foam to fix the issue. as for feeling imperfections you would have to know what you are feeling for, and at that point if someone is running there hands across your brand new SUEDE (yes i know its not real suede but still not cheap) headliner then you need to run your hand across their head! also get their performance high temp spray its the best, and sprayway industrial clean up dry cleaner in case you get glue on the suede, it will take it off even after it dries. all in all yourautotrim.com is the best place to go, awesome products, and they are extremely nice and helpful.
