  1. Stock 125 amp alternator too. I forgot to add that in.
  2. Oh no! The box is strapped down. I hate it when it moves plus I heard it's bad for the sub to be moving around. I have 2 gauge running from the battery to a splitter which goes down to four gauge wire which powers my amp for my door speakers and then a seperate four gauge wire from the splitter to power the amp for my Orion. I have a Infinity Reference series amp powering my door speakers. I want to upgrade to 0 gauge from the battery to my splitter then 2 gauge to the amp for my Orion. But unsure if it is worth spending the money. But my goal is to do this right. Plus I plan to buy a crossover soon after the new amp.
  3. I just hate electricty if that makes sense. But the $70 includes the wiring and all I think which isn't bad. The box is in the back seat
  4. Yeah I know it was way to pricey. I love car audio but I'm afraid of electricity so I'd rather pay my friend the 70 to do it.
  5. Love the forum. Just trying to figure out how to post pictures.
  6. It will be going in a 2006 F-150 Crew Cab. Stock battery but I have a Shuriken SK-BT35 battery I plan to add in addition to my regular car battery which will be installed in the tool box in the bed of my truck. Big 3 is coming soon just need money first. A local audio shop said they would do it for $150 but to me that sounds crazy for the price so I'll probably have the kid who sold me the system do it.
  7. I already went cheap and fired a amp so not looking to do it again. Fried a Planet Audio AP3000D
  8. I'm trying not to go cheap but being young it's kind of hard but I have a badass sub but no amp. A buddy recommended Sundown (which will require a pretty penny for sure). I had it on a Hifonics HFI2000D and it worked fine but I owed a guy money so had to sell. As towards how much am I looking to spend. Doesn't matter I'll work my ass off to get it.
  9. I've got a Orion HCCA 12.2 in a ported box and I'm in need of an amp but unsure which brand or wattage I should get. My sub is rated for 2000 rms 4000 max power. I plan to wire it down to 1 ohm so it needs to be 1 ohm stable. Suggestions? Help? Thanx
