2 gb? must be ancient. recommended is at least 4 gb ram. Anything more isn't needed but is nice to have. I have 4 gigs and it's a $2,000 tower.

na when i built my tower i ran out of funds and was only able to get 2gigs

I love how cheap ram is now. I paid like $80 for 4gb ddr2 800 4 years ago, though I do love having 8 gbs
