  1. *face palm* Thanks a lot. I don't know how I missed that...
  2. Hey Mechman, would you be able to make a custom alt for a 2005 Honda Civic SI? Just curious. I've been looking for a h/o alternator but can't find anything.
  3. Allright, thanks. I should probably just go to a car audio shop and talk to the shop personally and see what would be best to do. Thanks! I'll still probably just end up going to a shop. It would be best for me in order to get everything sorted out.
  4. Thanks, I guess I should replace my current amp. And I will keep crutchfield in mind. Christ, I don't have that kind of money right now lol. I guess I should start saving...? I don't know how I would do that. The subwoofers are already in the box.
  5. Thanks! Could you maybe point towards an amp that would go well with them? I'm obviously quite clueless. Also, this might sound completely idiotic, but ye know I'm just trying to learn a bit here. What if I bridged the amp I currently have to just one sub, and then got another amp exactly the same, and bridged that amp to the other one? Like, one amp for each subwoofer? Is that even possible for me currently? Thanks again.
  6. Ok guys, I know I'm new to SMD but I do plan on staying active. Car audio seems like a hobby I would like to get in to. Anyways, I have a few questions! Currently, I have two 12" CVX kickers (http://www.kicker.com/comp_vx) in a ported box, as well as a 2000 watt amp by Boss (http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B001DXDA64) I know this sounds silly, but will the amp even be able to power the two subs? I bought the two kickers at a pawn shop, and I don't know the Ohm ratings for them. Second, the amp I have now apparently has some mixed reviews; some saying that it can overheat VERY easy. Should I just get a new amp? Third, I'm a bit too short on money to buy a new head unit and radio so I planned on buying a Line out coverter for now instead. What are your guy's opinions on LOC's? Yay, nay? And lastly, my car (2004 mazda 6) already has a stock amp. I'm assuming when hooking up subs this can be worked around fairly easy, no? Thanks you so much guys! Any help is appreciated!
