  1. Ohhh alright, well it doesn't rain to much/bad here in vegas, except for that time it flooded lol. hmmm... the big 7 i'll check it out
  2. Ohhh yeah, my memory is kind of hazy but isn't OFC like 100% copper or something and CCA (copper clad aluminum, I think) well idk how much copper/aluminum. well idk which is "better" I'm still learning about it lol. Bcuz right not I have a mix of different brands of wires. Or are CCA and OFC kind of the same??
  3. Alright, well thanks again for the help, I might just end up color coordinating my wires (but choosing well known brands) ill check out XS power I've never looked at their wires b4
  4. Yeah thats true that it would be cheaper, but I have lots of 8g and some 4g wiring that I picked up from the junkyard for a couple bucks there might be a topic on this but I might as well ask u lol, whats a good website where I can get 1/0g wiring Ohhh alright Im somewhat still new to the forum (and car audio), I'll be sure to check out snafu and that ce electrical section Thanks
  5. Ohhh alright thanks alot well I only have an 85 amp alternator at the moment, but thanks for the heads up, much appreciated
  6. I haven't been on in a while, been "busy" I have 1 more question that I forgot to ask. when I ground the engine to the battery do I use the same location as I have it grounded to the frame? or find a new location
  7. I swear every time I wash my car it rains within the next two days. Heck we pretty much had a drought here in Ohio and I washed my car. Nothing was on the radar and then it decides to rain. You know what's worse washing your car then it rains and you live down a gravel road... Yepp, both my parents houses have dirt/mud and gravel driveway. They also both form puddles when it rains that you can't avoid. I try going slow as possible through them but still doesn't make a difference. never ending battle i love ohio too go south and 90% of the time theres amish horse buggy shit got ecoli on my rims wtf dublin: im hoping one day u make a wall and cause some problems (drive by buggy old amish man beard shakes) You better watch out for the amish mafia lol
  8. I swear every time I wash my car it rains within the next two days. Heck we pretty much had a drought here in Ohio and I washed my car. Nothing was on the radar and then it decides to rain. lol yeah I hate when that happens. thats y sometimes i just give it a rinse with water just to get all the dirt off, so that it doesn't look all dirty
  9. Ohhhhhh alright thanks for letting me know I might get this done today then
  10. So I posted this in another similar topic and got no responses idk if it was the wrong one to post in or if just nobody seen it lol, so im will give this another shot. The Big 3 upgrade: 1.I grounded my engine block to the frame(4g) 2.Upgraded power wire to alternator(4g) 3.Grounded battery to the frame(4g) Now my question is do I ground my alternator to the frame too?? I just barely heard about The Big 4 (and there is only like 3 videos on youtube, but i dont think they explain to well???) ( and fyi the reason I used 4g is bcuz thats what I had to work with and also I only have 1 1800 watt amp, I WILL upgrade to 0g soon)
  11. amazing ride!! I like to do all the things myself as well, or at least attempt to lol
  12. Interesting....lol I don't know any stories like this one, good story tho
  13. I don't know if this is the right topic to post in to ask my question but I thought I'd give it a shot.
