  1. RPM will turn it on, as long as it is indeed a single wire alternator
  2. pull out the 10 and replace with a smaller sub. In the trunk. Thanks for the clarification. Not much to the back seat so it'll still be heard. In fact, I was thinking if I ran the 6.5, I could face it up through where a single 6 X 9 would of gone back in the day to include a round port
  3. Been running an SD-10 for awhile in the trunk and need to go a little smaller on 400 watts Trying to downsize and cant decide if Id be better off with the X-6.5 or SA-8V2. Im trying to utilize the area right behind the rear seat up and out of the trunk pan Its raised kind of like a shelf and Ive got about 11" X 36" X 10" and the amp powering the front doors and sub also need to go up there.
  4. Isnt it actually 750 to each voicecoil? Dual 2 ohm coils wire parallel. 1500 total off the D6.
  5. Same here. I keep seeing them on Craigslist and was thinking about stopping by to see if they had any set up. Are they all just sitting on the shelves? Nothing installed in boxes?
  6. So in the recommended Sundown cut-sheet/build plan box, would it survive the 1500 at 1 ohm?
  7. LOL, damn it. Now there are 2 for small sealed, and 2 for ported. Anyone at Sundown have further insight? This will be going in the trunk of my 65 Chevy in the corner pic
  8. Pulled up the cut sheet and design for the sd-2 and it shows a vented design. I read a lot regarding using these in a sealed application. Im ASSUMING the vented design maximizes output? I plan on using my Diamond Audio D6 1500.1 but would the 1500 at 4 ohm with 375 watts be to little and would the 1500 watt output at 1 ohm be to much? I was thinking about getting a second 10 to run it at 2 ohms and 750 watts. thoughts and clarification please......I listen to everything but mostly enjoy older rap/R&B
  9. actually, not everyone knows it. Some people think im an asshole because maybe they told me "you have big rims and big woofers because your dick is small" and i told them i would slap their mother across the forehead with it and show how small it is......those people don't like me. hahah... but anyone who is halfway cool, i am always cool to. Period. People are 100% grade A assholes to me and they don't seem to like my comebacks very much which leads me to being called even more names LMAO. What can i do. I can vouch for this guy. All the way back to the early 90's. Cool dude in the neighborhood and always had a cool system. Steve, you may or may not remember I hit you up while stationed in Korea after recognizing you from your early YouTube videos. Then I remembered your Celica that everyone always actually heard before seeing you. Its super rare to see ANYONE help someone out anymore, and Im glad to see youre still the same humble dude with a good attitude. Good Shit! sorry man, i would say i recognized you but i don't know anyone from the hood named f16fxr4real :D Then again, back in the day there was no such thing as a "screen name". We all had real ones Its all good, part of the Aberfeldy/Antelope park era. Starting before D.M. passed. Then hung out in Foothill Farms with R. Arts and G. Freeman. Bottom line is, there were a few of you guys that left a positive impression 25 years ago and its awesome to see some people dont change. Adam

  11. I know these can take a lot of power, but is it worth it to try these exact ecnlosures with 300 watts? What kind of power range would be ideal here?
  12. Pretty legit for a first car. Someone did take care of it, that interior is way to clean for it not to have been. Much better than my first car, 84 Ford Ranger back in 91. LOL Much better than that Celica, I think it was, you had back in the day too. Definitely going to have a better system in this. (was stationed in Korea a few years ago and shot you a message via youtube and now up at Beale near Marysville.)
