ha true that. I'm not interested just know that some people may go on forums to get people to buy stuff and basically con them of their money. Just making sure you guys are looking out for that too.

That is definitely ideal right there!! lol. Most interesting setup i've seen. Throw a recliner in the closet, put up a board to stand the monitor on, hook up a sweet system, man its heaven! =D lol.. Get a 5.1 system in there haha!!! That would be sweet!! I dont think you would miss a sound lol

I got two setups, one for the Desktop and one for the Laptop. For the Laptop (MacBook) I got 2.1 Altec Lansing. Gots a pretty decent bangin sub. It will hit as low as around 30 cycles pretty good. And for the Desktop (PowerMac G5) I have the Logitech Z-5500 Speaker System, 5.1 @ 1000w total power 10 inch woofer I have the surrounds setup at my Bed's headboard which is directly behind the desk. So what do you guys have setup for you computers? I've seen some pretty crazy computer setups over the years and finally have something good to show for. I know you audio peeps got to have something bump'n for your computer. I'm sure those who make their own beats and mixes got to have something!!

Very good!! Excellent price and qualitiy!

that sucks how does that even happen!?!?!

i'm not getting political or not trying to just stating that is BLOWS that we work for our money yet.. in the end its not OUR money we are working for.. It just sucks..

You dont really have a selling reputation to show for? You got ebay account? anything?

Yea, i was just looking at my pay stub and its just hitting me and making me realize how much we pay towards other people's CRAP!! We work harder to help those who dont work at all....

You have only 1 post here at SMD, do you have an ebay reference or anything proof of trustworthy, legit dealer? I dont know your reputation and neither do any of us so if you have some proof being legit please tell.

Its really hitting me lately, i've been working and i've been exhausted and I look forward to getting my pay stub every week.. But this week it just really irritated me!!! 800$ paycheck and $200 went to taxes... putting me at 600 dollar paycheck.. just really makes me mad that just feels like the government just steals the money we work hard for!!!

hey buddy, i am selling mine to someone for 175 with a box i built tuned to 36 hz. I think thats a very reasonable price for used subs, i have everything boxes and all. so if you wanted a resonable price for 2 used 12 type r's 150-175 is reasonable.

Yup!! thats exactly the oposite side of the room and i lay on my bed and watch movies on my computer so it works that way!

Got it all hooked up, it sounds good being placed there, i may move them down some tho.. not sure yet.. I cant wait to get my speaker stands then i'll be set!

Yo, here at SMD, Derrick824 has been making some decals for those who want them. In case you havn't heard they are... Excellent Quality! Customizable (create your own/request) Only cost $1 I've got so many from him I'm still finding places to put them! Honestly if you want to add a little something to your car, or anything get a decal! =D I have 2 or more of each sticker pictured and them some that have already been used.

EXCELLENT decals!! Cant beat $1 Also he did bunch of special orders for me! Great quality! turned out just how I expected them!

I'm also looking for some cheapo stands I could use so I can put the speakers to the left and right side of the bed facing each other. found some on ebay from 10-20 bucks been looking at a few we'll see how it goes.

Ok, I got some shots of where I want to place my rears, tell me if this is good spot for them? its 2-3 feet above my ears (which is what is recommended)

Anyone know if there is some speaker stands for the logitech speakers?

I've decided that since my desk is against one wall and my bed is on the opposite wall and i have been laying in bed watching movies, i am going to put the surround (rears) on the top of my headboard of my bed or somewhere on my headboard, if the speakers seem to be too high being up on my headboard then i'll move them down or position them differently. But tomorrow I got to go out and buy some longer wires, these wires i think are only 15 ft for the rears which is good if my room was smaller, but i will need 25 at most prolly to be able to run the wires in my room and hide them. This will be perfect cuz if i wanted to bring my speakers with somewhere i'll still have the original wires to use and can leave these others permanently. I'll prolly get 75 ft roll so i know i have enough. Any recommendations where to buy it or what brand? I'm just going to go to Walmart or Best Buy(if i pass it) I know walmart might be cheaper but best buy may have something more ideal for quality and i do want quality. I'm not looking to spend more than 20 dollars on them tho.. thats just kind of dumb really.. but i know stuff aint cheap these days if i you want things done the right way

definately looks good with cloths on!! Neatly done man! props to you on your build!

That does hit hard man!!! My new computer system was rattling my windows!!! haha!! that has just the RIGHT frequency of bass too!

ditto lol

Yea here are the pics! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=14597

those polks are awesome!!!! I always liked the sound they produced for theatre and just music! very nice man!!!! very nice!

carefull tho man, hope your not running any mid-high or high frequencies through them subs, they are meant for only the lows.. i've been running a 10 inch sony on mine with the highs/mids/lows running through it, no damage yet and its 4 years old lol.. but if you plan on putthing them in your car i wouldnt recommend running the highs through them unless you got some crossover on that reciever or some raw sub line
