you should be fine getting a 2k amplifier to a pair of those level 3's. your goin to have box rise so keep that in mind

when they start to stinkin real quick thats a sure sign that you need to turn the gain down and like optical said you can use a oscope

what amp are you running? dont just turn the gain all the way up and always keep bass boost all the way down pretty self explanitory imo

external ports is the way to go as well internal ports causes turbulance in the box just sayin...know alot of people gain by doin that

my trunk box worked pretty good with 2 6" aeros with 2 aq hdc3s. and you could always plug one port to test if you gain any....and a word of advice those subs like small boxes try 4 cubes you wont be dissapointed

never messed with the 18's but i also had the hdc3 12's they were alright for the money

for how long? ive demoed for 8+ hours straight for 2 days..... 4 kinetik 2400s and a 1400 for me.... 8hrs strait lol..as long as i wanted and that was when the alt was hot. but im not goin to throw that power to a single 18 for 8 hours obviously i have no desire to listen to bass for that long.
