At 2 ohms...You can wire 2 dual 2ohm subs at 2 ohms??? Just as the title states..Anybody know who makes and amp that will run at .5 ohms. I have that VFL 150.1 but I am nervous about running it that low daily..I am sending it off today to have it fixed..But I want an amp that will run .5 ohms around 2500-3000 watts ...Gotta find something to power the 2 BL 15's...Anyone know if so post up..Thanks...

Thats my box right there. I have the exact same design except my box has a 4 inch port and is 4 cubes tuned to 30 hz...My Previous amp was a Us amps Xt 4000d and you would be better off upgrading..The Xt4000 is a great amp don't Get me wrong, but it is only good for about 1000 watts @1 ohm..But that box design you have there is a winner..Sounds very good and moves plenty of air..

Like I said I am Trying to keep it around 8 cubes cause Fi recommends 4 cuft per woofer tuned between 30-37hz. 40" W X 30"H X 12"D = 14400/1728= 8.33 cuft Woofers displace .18cuft each so 8.33-.18= 8.15-.18= 7.97 cuft internal airspace right???

I'm not as advanced as some of these guys are but i was wondering if this a a good port Length Calculator? I am going to wall off the Civic and I want to have an Idea of the port length in the build. I am building an 8 cuft box for 2 Fi 15" BL's and I am wanting to tune it to 32hz. I want the subs to be up top by the headrests and the port in the Middle. Like Meade's Civic and Oso's Civic. I can figure out the Box internal air space, but this port length crap is killin me..Getting the Width and Height and Depth to get the certain square inchs of port and tuning it is giving me trouble. Well guys i have the Kenwood Kdc-Mp828 Splgeo was selling..I purchased a Trim Ring from Calicarstereo.com and it was here in 2 days. Sooooo Tommorow i will be installing it. I will take Pics. Now I have to find something to do with the Sony. What are you guys takes on that Kenwood radio. The reviews all point to it is a good unit..Long as it doesn't skip as much or at all I am cool..I will eventually go with an Ipod, but untill them gotta rock cd's.
