  1. imm happy with this one except i forgot to shut off the camera so vid is only really about 30 secs
  2. have you looked into the new boston amps... or even the alpine pdx amps? both have great power and sound
  3. got a jl 300/4 possibly for sale...also a pioneer 4x35 and a alpine 4x20
  4. well if you would just stop shopping at denio's...
  5. 1=blue trunk wire on main brain harness 2=shock sensor plug has one side with a tail, that side plugs into brain, take secon shock sensor and combine bl/grn wires togethe on that one tail wire. hook the red to a pos 12v and black to ground. 3= no relay... do it all the time 4= start act input gets no connection, used for optional accy like a remortstart temp/clock timer start. small black/white stripe goes to ground, dont need to use the toggle.
  6. dont think redbaron had his acura at WF he had the blksin
  7. decided it was time to let the wife have a little bump so here is the plan small inclosure (so to not take any room from the dogs...) got the pioneerBT deck, RF P3002, single run of 2g. still have the single 12 enclosure that i built to fit under the 2nd row last year but that was for her last ride. New truck=new idea. My plan for this one is to relocate the jack-storage and put a 12 in that location; but try to make it appear as stock as possible. Will post pics throughout the build.
  8. have 2 layers of dm....skips on new unscratched cd's (see geo with new dc subs vid) third one has evidence of this prob when i was focused on my mirror. problem has gotten worse through the week
  9. bigger port allows the sub to move more with less power...so if you have the same power your subs will have more excursion.... more ex = more potential spl. you can reproduce your sound that you desire with experimenting on length of port for daily use; but will have the ability to let it sing when you need to MAKE IT BIGGER
  10. it is iso mounted in a metal box chassis. (tight fit even without the deck screws)
  11. Ill start off by saying that for right now i dont have $ for a new head unit. i have a CDA7893 and it will skip at full tilt...tried a kenwood excelon 7?? and it is worse. So re instaled the Alpine and hooked up a changer that i had lying around. if the changer is secured down it still skips! if i have the changer just resting on the floor it will only chatter a little bit(not full cuttout like the deck but still a noticeable problem. any ideas how to mount it with vibration damping in mind?
  12. mine seems about the same either way... justs peaks at dif frequencies. But i tend to crack the windows a few inches when it is cold just to release the pressure so i dont hear so much of the door frame slap
  13. there you go...you know if the cat found ot comfy, he will return: next time be prepared and record
