  3. well maybe not but i still need it loud to be able to hear musicover the exhaust; 6 6x9, 1 10", tweeters as center channel, all off 1 4channel mounted behind the glove. with the to off the vocals could be heard about 300yards away. sucks for those who dont like country music! LoL

  5. never been pulled over in it.....probably a good thing since my exhaust does not quite fall in the realm of legal volume; as measured legal( 105db at an idle, 120+ at 3000rpm

  8. went to visit sound sollutions in nv, look what followed me home. could not leave these guys out in the weather so i decided to keep them. now i just need to give them a house to share with the other two.
  9. 2001 is a real basic install... just put the shifter in drive, pop off the trim around the stereo and then press the tabs on the sides of the deck to slide it out. i would take a rag and lay it across the ac controls will you try to unplug the harness from the rear of the hu to avoid scratches. wire up intgration module and mount stereo....enjoy
  10. disconnect harness from deck and use multimeter to check each speaker wire for resistance to ground. if the meter reads any at all, there is a short
  11. old fosgate bd 1500.1 times 2 amps are stable at 2 ohm, Ive ran them at 1.3, ill attempt to run them at 1 ohm at the finals. (amps are rated at 1500 at 2)

  14. just some break in runs at half power(about 700 each) the sound quality is great even though the camera cant tell. please ignore the acadamy award winning film work!!! first sounds from my dc audio subs
  15. did you check all the fuses for acc/ign also fuses under the hood. what year is your truck? does it have a gmrc01 interface for the deck wiring? if all else fails just run your stereo ign wire down to your steering column under the dash and slder a connection to the 12 guage brown wire in the main ignition harness; just make sure you add fuse at that location

  17. i just want to say thanks to Rusty for coming through for me on short notice... just received a pair of L4D2 for my geo and if all goes well i will be purchasing 2 more of them for the box that i have built for 4 15,s . Also need to thank thumper02 for the connection that made this possible. cant wait to hear these in my car and see if a 150 is in my near future.

  19. hi christian, I have the T2's now (the geo metro) but dont have the money for 2 more or the amps to run 4 of those, which is why i was thinkink of 4 T115's just dont want to blow those
