theory1230 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 12 sq inch of port per ft3 about 24 inch long works most of the time . Are you doing two or three subs ? I can run the design on WIN ISD. To fine tune it let me no I would do one chamber and one vent three vents will take up two mutch air space.

RAM_Designs Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 12 sq inch of port per ft3 about 24 inch long works most of the time .` Depends on the size of the box and the desired tuning frequency. You may need more port and you may need to have a much longer port...just depends on the desired goals for the setup. theory1230 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 If you build box with .75 inch mdf 30hx48wx15d do a vent 102 sq in 18.25 inch long will tune to 34.8 hz works out to 4.25 ft3 per sub doing two drivers add . Vent is 8.5 x 12 18.25" long. You can do it right in the center facing up subs forward .
