FreekDesignz Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 Can these subs really stand up to there description? The Quantum Audio QPW10D4 is a 10" subwoofer with 800 watts peak output and 400 watts RMS rated power. All Quantum subwoofers are rated very conservatively. When they write 400 watts RMS, that means the subwoofer can really handle a little more than 400 watts RMS. The QPW10D4 has a large 50 OZ magnet. This has an extreme excursion motor structure which makes this woofer sound really nice and clean. The woven tinsel leads are isolated protecting the sub. The pole piece has lots of ventilation so that the subwoofer can play for long periods of time at high volume levels without ever overheating. ♠ FreekDesignz Demo Collection ♠ Everything You Need To Know About Car Audio Torres' Box Tuning Calculator
