eric78702
I was wondering if it would be okay to wire 5 subs to 1 amp and if it is okay what voice coils do I need on the subs?
zayres29
depends on the amps really what ohm load are you looking for most amps are stable down to 1ohm so you would need dual 2ohm subs all wired in series/parallel that would give you a tad lower than 1ohm but if you have a proper box and electrical there shouldnt be a problem Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged
fecupe2001
As he said, depends on the amplifier, you could go with 5 SVC 4 ohms coils subs also , that would give you 0.8 ohms wiring, but yes, you can wire 5 subs to a single amplifier if the amplifier can take the final load I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
