Sorry for the bumping of an olderish thread but o well. Doubt many people if anyone has experience with both, but how would these compare to the older style IA 40.1's. Running on just a 12 volt system.

The 40.1s are beasts.

Especially below 1 ohm.

But for the price of them used they're a little high IMO. The 5kw is almost identical to the american bass 500.1. I'll PM you th rest.

Hey I just wanted some info on it. I ordered mine with the first batch but haven't got a chance to even look at it cause I am currently deployed. I know they say 5k at 1 ohm with 14v power. But considering I will get some voltage drop what are they rated at 12v?

Yea I already have two of the 40.1's and they are beast. I love them, just looking to get a lil more power, but will most likely hang onto them for a while. Just the interest of trying something new, but my wallet isn't quite so interested lol.
