JoshAndrews Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 My friend has a Hifonics 2500d and when we wired everything up the power light on the amp came on, it's not in protect mode, yet the light on the bass knob that should be green is lighting up a constant red. What does this red light mean? The bass knob is not broken because I hooked the working bass knob from my system(it's the same kind) and it was still red. Any ideas? JoshAndrews Posted February 13, 2011 Author Report Posted February 13, 2011 Are you sure it actually controls the bass boost, because if it is turned all the way down no bass is produced...I'm pretty sure it's just a bass level control within the limitations of where you set your gain.
