An idea for my summer build.

Okay guys, so heres the list of what im thinking of doing.

#1, strip my interior. pull out the carpets, put down 2 layers of undercoating in the footwells, and put down new automotive carpet over it, should be nice cheap sound deadening, since the rest of the jeep already has 5 layers of peal and seal, except the front door skins and the roof, the doors and roof will be getting secondskin on them.

#2, speakers. 2 5&1/4" crescendos up front, and two 6.5" crescendos in rear panels, behind the front doors, about arm level for the rear passengers. they will be in enclosures built into the front doors and rear panels, tuned so the drivers have maximum fidelity across the entire acoustic range.

#3, interior overhaul. i already have my door panels done, but thats the start of it, my overall idea is to get some of those cheap racing seats for the driver and passengers (black on black, or black on gray of course, none of that blue and red horse shit). the passenger seats will be removable, and non movable while installed. they will be held in with four pins, that can be removed in about a minute overall. as far as the center console in front, i want to relocate the head unit to the front/bottom, to keep down the bright distraction while driving at night. where the radio was, there will be a flip up panel that will reveal power switches for the amps, and potentiometers for fine tuning the RCA levels for the subwoofers. the center console for the rear passengers will be interesting, will appear to be a simple center console, with cup holders, but will contain a subwoofer (more info lower)

#4, subwoofers! the passenger one first, a sundown e8v2, in the passenger center console. .6 cubes at 34 hz sounds good to me, 2 1" ports should do the trick, will behind a grill with grill material wrapped around it, and will be held on with neo magnets. now the big sub! im thinking, one or two sundown audio SA-15's. i mapped out an enclosure, and its looking like 10 cubic feet at 24 hz should be oh so sweet, with a f3 of 20hz, and smooth responce up to 70 hz, shouldnt be a bad deal. if not two, then one 15" in 5 cubic feet at 30 hz, should be the best route. thats all just the plan anyways.

#5, now for the amps. For the E8v2, i was thinking my old kenwood 2 channel, its rated my kenwood to do 300 watts per channel at 4 ohms, so im thinking 600 watts at 2 ohms should be possible, so that should be nice for the 8". it will be running active with an internal lowpass crossover at 30hz on a -12db slope. For the 15"s i have a rockford 1501 that should do about 1600 rms at 2 ohms, so that should do the trick, and for the crescendos, well, of course, the crescendo 1000c4.

#6, power. this is my first upgrade, an excessive amperage 250 amp alt, and two batts. not sure what batts, but im leaning towards two AGM batts that orileys carries, g34 batts, 1200cca, not sure on the other specs, but i can get them at a discount so those might be my first option. i know i will have three runs of 1/0 running into the jeep tho, split into 4ga with bussbars, will have a volt meter running from the batt to the dash, hidden behind a panel with smoked tint, so it looks like the numbers are just there, with lighted up words like (amp 1, amp 2, amp 3, processor, and so forth)

but yeah, this is just the rough idea of what im wanting to do, what do you guys think?
