tweak209cali Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 so i recently bought 2 RE audio REX 10's, they are in a 2.5 cubic ft. box tune to 34 hrtz, running em i have a hifonics hfi1000D at 4 ohms. My question is would it be worth it to buy 2 RE audio SRX 10's to replace them and run them at 1 ohm. (i can get 2 10's for $164 shipped)
__d_a_v_i_d__ Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 run those on 1 ohm... oscope/dmm it for a clean signal... set gains medium to low. im pretty sure that amp is like 500 rms. unfortunately you got the lowest end hifonics amp that doesn't do rated.
