lombo352
Ok guys im starting my install... Im puting 1 kicker L7 15" in my single cab truck... i want to port it but ive never built a ported box before (many sealed enclosures).. Ive used Torres's box calc from the boards here and came up with a 3ft by 20" by 15" box with a slight angle to fit behind the seat... the calculator says it would be 4.99cft ill just say close to 4cft with the angle...my question is how big should the port be as in to what frq should i tune it too? This is my daily driver and im going to run the kicker 1000watt rms 2000watt peak amp...any help would be greatly appreciated 96 Ram Build

Trâgîk
Id tune to 34-36 hz. Thats decent for a Daily driver. Mine is tuned to 34 because i like it a little lower but it will still hit frequencies below that very well but thats a good frequency to tune to imo. -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)
