SwaggerWagon Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 I currently have a Punch P500-1bd amp birthed at 701 watts rms @ 1 ohm with ~2250 watt peaks. It is currently pushing two 2003 RF punch p2 12 SVC 4 ohm subs. I've decided to upgrade and go with DC subs, but I'm torn between the level 2 and level 3s. Budget is a huge factor, as I'm a college student with very little income, and a slim wallet as it is. That being said, would the level 2 15s take up a ton of room sealed? I'd like to go with 15s instead of 12s, but I drive a Honda pilot and snowboard, wakeboard, or mountain bike almost every weekend, so I need some trunk room. Also, if I went with level 3s I know i would need another amp...could I just get another P500 and run one amp to one sub? Thanks for any suggestions/advice. I really don't want to get rid of this amp either. It's clean, small, and with my HO alt and yellow top batt, it gets a constant solid power supply...no voltage drops. Quote
