I got the switch from spare window switch I had laying around from my Porsche haha so I got it all nice and neatly wired up and sorry for horrible pics!

You got any specs on that actuator? How far does it extend, what's it's length extended from end to end, and then also compressed end to end. I'm thinking about an amp rack idea for mine. Wondering if it's gonna work or not.

I have to measure it but sadly it's not working out very well for my application cuz when it's all the way down its too tall and when it's fully extended its not tall enough.....so idk what I'm gonna do...

Hmmm. Could try and do some sort of pivot and arm mount. A rod or arm that goes from a center point on the drawer, then mount the actuator sideways with the other end of the rod or arm on it. It's kind of hard to explain what I'm thinking but I'll see if I can sort it out. May not work out anyway, I'm sure i'm just thinking out loud.

So my thought is this. If you anchored the actuator on the floor under the rack, laying down. Then in the middle of the rack you anchor an arm. You extend the actuator to full length. Find the length of the arm anchor point on the rack, and then the end of the actuator. Connect the two. To make the rack go up, you close the actuator causing the arm to rise. When the arm rises it will push up the amp rack. To drop the rack down, you extend the actuator, which would pull the arm down as well as the rack. Make sense? The connection points are pivot points, so they have to move freely, can't be tight to the point. They need to move to pivot.
