FreekDesignz
the 97 Chrysler Town and Country has 3 types of speakers in it. They are Front: 5-1/4", 5" x 7" Rear: 6" x 9" Dash: 5-1/4" Front door: 5" x 7" Rear side panel: 6" x 9" i have a 1 pair of Rockford Power T152. i need 6x9's and 5x7's. the power series 5x7's are $90.00/pair and the punch series is $67.00/pair not much of a difference but still. but the power series 6x9's are $168.00 while the punch series are only $96.00. almost 2x as much! what should i do? different brand? get all 5.25's and make mounting adapters? hdorre
You can mix them. Just don't wire two different types of speakers on the same channel of the amp. FreekDesignz
You can mix them. Just don't wire two different types of speakers on the same channel of the amp. i see "power" on 1 channel and "punch" on another. but what about the cones? would it sound bad to have 5x7's and 5.25's with in 2ft of each other? SR20DAZE
In my theory i dont think it will sound bad cause the 5x7 will be your "midbass" while your 5.25 will give you a higher freq range, someone correct me if im wrong tho Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy. SR20DAZE
I didnt meanit as a component lol sorry for not making it filly clear I ment that the 5x7 will have a more bass filled range, not like a sub or anything but it plays fuller lows but lacks a bit on the higher end as to where the 5.25 comes into play and fills the void Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy.
