JordanSchumaker
So just connect each color from the radios wire to each color of the dash's wires? What if there is extra wires?
ChillMasterWill
sounds like you need to got the junk like he said and find a stock harness and splice/solder the wires back to the oe harness for slack then it will match up to the aftermarket wire harness to plug and play w/your headunit's harness, if the previous owner cut the wires off and the harness is missing you just need another one from a junk yard..... JordanSchumaker
Yeah im pretty sure thats what the problem is. The harness from the radio is taped to the wires from the dash with electrical tape. My question is could I just take off the electrical tape from the wires and then cut of the harness from the radio then just do the same exact thing they did with crimping the wires from the dash with the radios harness? Yeah you could do that if yiu have no other choice sure We would but his stuff is all messed up like the harness from the radio is connected to the dash by electrical tape like I said and we noticed today that they wired it wrong I think. Like they have green and red from the radio connected to like white from the dash its really weird so I'm lost because I have no experince with installing anything car audio. I don't know how we would wire it Edited February 26, 2011 by JordanSchumaker

bassl0va
You could send it to an installer maybe, they mostly do headunits everyday, so most places will do a good job. I learnt how to hook one up just the other day, it's easy if you have someone to show you what to do in person. We thought about having bestbuy install it but we wanted to save the $50 and have learning experience lol
