tdc3187
Started the fuse holder. Also the drywall wall screws weren't working so I bought some nice looking screws and tee nuts. Half are in... Hopefully more tomorrow after work. Oh yea love the car too, bout the only Ford I like. Thanks bro! Today I found the wood glue was bonded well so I wrapped it in vinyl. Put some bolts in it. I need to go back and get longer bolts, but you get the idea And with the fuse Will work on trimming the vinyl and making the edges tomorrow after the vinyl glue has dried. tdc3187
Trimmed the edges of the vinyl, cut the side pieces, rounded the edges, sanded, sanded with finer paper, a little more sanding, and then sanded just because sanding is fun. Ended up with this, it's not squared up. Just clamped into place. tdc3187
Had my first day off today in a long time and I did almost nothing. It felt great. I did manage to get everything lined up and the sides screwed on. Tomorrow I will "hopefully" get the side pieces wrapped and get the ring terminal holes drilled. tdc3187
Everything looks very smooth and damn you're gonna love the end result! Thanks, if turns out anything like it is in my head it will be nice. Hopefully my patience translates into quality.... So tonight I worked on straighting out the carbon, as you can see it gets out of alignment. Straightened it out with a straight edge Coated the wood with epoxy to get it ready for the carbon, but the poplar sucked the epoxy up. So I'll have to let this dry, scuff it up and try again tomorrow. See y'all tomorrow.
