cz101 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 So i have a Kenwood KRC-435 cassette 2001 model and i have just recently wired it up in my 1988 chevy s-10 blazer, and i wired it all right with a wire diagram that i got off the internet that told me what color wire meant what in the blazer. Well i hooked it up but the power wire wasnt connected to the battery and it was too small of a connector so i wired it to the alternator as well as the 12v adapter wire. The 12v adapter works even when the keys arent in the ignition and the deck has never come on, i dont know if its broken or if i just need a new harness? and also, on the harness the 12v power for the deck has about 3/4 of the inside copper wire in the pin hole. I dont know if I should get a new harness and wire that or if i need a whole new deck. Please let me know what you think. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
