Guest Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 ya, those ^ are stock lvl 3s. there are new lvl 3s being released soon tho... . Lmao you didn't even know until i told you. I prefer the level 3. Here is my reasoning. 1. The SA has a 2.5" coil where as the level 3 has a 3" coil. 2. The SA is made in China. Level 3 is right here in the states. 3. DC is closer to you then Sundown is. Any questions? arent the DC soft parts still made in china? so your logic is flawed. tired as fuck from people saying "OH WELL DC IS BUILT IN AMERICA SO ITS TEH BESTORZ". it all comes down to the fucking design of the product, not its origin of creation.

Guest Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 really? hmm, i always thought that they were built overseas. so you're telling me every single soft part (for the most part) on a DC woofer is american made?

Yep, just talked to rusty a few minutes ago. The spiders, coil, cone, and surrounds are american. Price is also a factor for ALOT of people and IMO the price of the SA is a little high being as they are made in china for probably next to nothing. Especially when I can sell someone level 3s for less. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. dwright27 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 Right after you said that, I texted him and and asked " do you use Chinese soft parts " He called me a few minutes later and reassured me of what i thought i knew, but i wanted to be 100% before i put my foot in my mouth lol. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. hdorre Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 I would prefer the sub thats made in my country (the US), not on thats just made and assembled in China..so I'd feel more comfortable with DC. Ive heard that the Sundowns get loud and are good subs though do you even own a sub yet?? Yep, a Kicker CVR. I don't see how that's relevant though... 7jezuz7 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 I have a pair of 12" DC level 3's and love them and how they sound so much, but have heard so many good things about the SA's so should I be able to try them out sometime I might. Or maybe wait a bit longer? There's all this talk of new level 3's An Audio Technix 18" Strato on a Kicker KX120.2 My Youtube Bass Vids Updates When Possible...
