badasschevy
i'd take it down and have a mechanic look at it. have him look at the transmission, check all the steering components. also it looks like it has a 6" suspension lift, and a 3" body lift. what size are the tires? see if he has paper work for all the mods that were done. hopefully he re-geared the axles, if not i would be leary of the transmission holding up much longer. $4k for a 97 chevy extended cab is pretty cheap, for the price he is asking it seems something might be wrong with it. BURRITO
be sure to ask him how long ago did he put that Explorer Pro Comp 6" lift kit on it... because it looks like that may be an older Pro Comp kit, which used to suck! and like badasschevy already said... transmission? steering components?? and dont forget hub bearing assemblys... etc. etc. Quote Barretto MotorsportsTeam RFCTeam CHMTeam SMD "Blow Sand"Live Your Life Without Boundaries... http://www.jeffbarretto.acnrep.com/d_oppor...A=US_EN&BW=

Braingetter
Thats a badass deal, I have a 97 gmc truck with almost 300,000 miles on original motor, and it starts and runs like brand new, never rebuilt it so he must have been through some shit to rebuild it twice!!!! I only blew a intake manifold gasket which tends to go always on a 350 votec around 150k... Either way 4gz for that truck is a awesome deal.... check the blue book, its alot more than that for sure... Quote I no longer live by tha sword, I'm living tha good life cuz I live it for the Lord.
