chapo123 Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 i have them in a 1.5 per sub box ported off a rockford t1000.1bd (the tan and black ones) at one ohm and i need more power.. the subs dont move much and amp is oscoped! lol! any ideas on a good amp? im selling the rockford tommorow hopefully for 225 and id like to keep it under 300 if possible.. any ideas? im eyeing that soundstream txi.2000d thats for sale here but idk if it does rated. cant see a fuse rated and it says it runs 4 gauge.. so idk i want to push them decently! hdorre Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 (edited) How much rise are you getting? You should check that out. The RF probably clamps around 1400wrms at 1 ohm flat. What other GOOD amps will output the same power for under $300? My suggestion would be to rebuild the enclosure to try to eliminate rise or to increase efficiency. Who knows, the new box may rise even more! That just means that you need to try again I guess. That's probably not what you wanted to hear, but its my opinion Off topic- I thought you had SA12s instead?
