SasquatchREG32 Posted March 20, 2011 Report Share Posted March 20, 2011 i'm in the process of purchasing a 2nd battery for the trunk. my set up is a 15" DC XL (on it's way) powered by a RF T2k...JL 300/4 for mids+highs. Big 3 is done with 1/0 wires all around. i only have an Optima yellow top under the hood. i want an extra battery that will do the job, this will be a daily set up. If you could get one or too XS 3100 I think that should be enough. just got done looking at some XS batteries, the D3100 provides up to 5K watts and it says that the D1200 could provide power up to 3K watts as a back up battery...is the D1200 battery big enough??
